FiberWDM compatible SFP/SFP+/QSFP Transceiver Modules
April 14 , 2022Compatible optical transceiver modules are used to add fiber optic capabilities when connected to switches and use DDM/DOM (Digital Diagnostics/Optical Monitoring) technology to enable end users to monitor real-time parameters of the transceivers. Based on these monitoring parameters, network technicians can check and ensure that the modules are functioning well, including:
Predict module life
Locate the fault location
Verify Module Compatibility
In FiberWDM, our goal is to provide compliant transceiver modules that pass rigorous testing with a high level of design quality and production integrity. Compatible ranges operate in full duplex mode, handling both reception and transmission of all signals simultaneously. One thing to note though is that the transmitter and receiver need to work on different frequencies to avoid collisions between the transmitted and received signals.
The bidirectional transceiver modules operate over common single-mode single-strand fiber optic links up to 10 kilometers. Single-strand deployments require a pair of 100BASE-BX-D and 100BASE-BX-U SFPs.
Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) solution enables scalable and easy-to-deploy Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and Fibre Channel services, and provides convenient and cost-effective adoption of Gigabit Ethernet over campus, data center, and metro fiber s solution. Regional access network. It consists of a set of eight different CWDM SFP/SFP+ modules.
Typical standards for transceiver modules:
SFP transceiver modules link devices in telecom and data communications, such as switches and routers. They support applications such as Fiber to the Desktop (FTTD), SONET/SDH networking, Gigabit Ethernet, and high-speed computer links. Available standards:
SX Standard = Fiber 1000 Base (1Gbps), Multimode, <500m (distance), 850nm
LH Standard = Fiber 1000 Base (1Gbps), Single Mode, <10km (distance), 1310nm
ZX Standard = Fiber 1000 Base (1Gbps), Single Mode, 70-150km (distance), 1550nm
T Standard = Copper, <100m (distance)
SFP+/10GB is an upgraded version of SFP that supports data rates up to 10Gbps and provides the following standards:
SR Standard (Short Reach) = Fiber 10GBase, Multimode, <300-400m, 850nm
LR Standard (Long Range) = Fiber 10GBase, Single Mode, 10-25km, 1310nm
ER Standard (Extended Range) = Fiber 10Gbase, Single Mode, 25-30km
QSFP/40GB transceiver modules provide a variety of IEEE and MSA compliant devices for copper and fiber networks, enabling connectivity between server access, top-of-rack and end-of-row switches deployed in high performance computing networks. BiDi QSFP transceiver currently provide the industry's most cost-effective solution for 40-Gigabit connectivity. It enables seamless 10 to 40 GE migration over your 10 GE fiber infrastructure by carrying full-duplex 40 Gigabit Ethernet over a single duplex multimode fiber (MMF).
Compatible transceiver modules with original modules
Compatible transceiver modules are available at a fraction of the price of the original brand. Users can choose to turn on support for Part 3 modules via the CLI. Since it is a pluggable device, it does not affect the warranty of the branded switch as all cables and transceiver modules must be removed before sending the branded device for repair.
